AI assistants

Your WhatsApp inbox in your own AI assistant

With the CommuniQate AI kit you ask Claude, Codex, Cursor or OpenClaw which customers are waiting for a reply, have replies drafted and schedule follow-ups. Copy one prompt: your assistant downloads the kit, connects your workspace and guides you step by step.

Works with
Claude Code
Claude Desktop
OpenAI Codex (ChatGPT)
Cursor
OpenClaw (formerly Clawdbot)
Any app with MCP or a terminal

Install with one prompt

Your AI assistant does the work. You only create an API key in CommuniQate, and the assistant tells you exactly where.

1

Copy the prompt

With the button below. The prompt contains the download link and the checksum of the kit.

2

Paste it into your AI app

In Claude Code, Codex, Cursor (agent mode) or OpenClaw. Allow the assistant to download files and run commands.

3

Follow your assistant

It installs the kit and guides you: create an API key, pick a channel, test with your own number. Allow about fifteen minutes.

Install prompt
Install the CommuniQate AI kit for me and then guide me through it step by step.

1. Download https://www.communiqate.nl/downloads/communiqate-ai-kit.zip
2. Check the SHA-256 of the file. It must be b9d7e33d4db0f05c48058d38eb8d6145eadde5e6ec7972e639a8bd6111562ab7. If it does not match, stop and tell me.
3. Unzip it in my home folder so the folder communiqate-ai-kit is created (macOS and Linux: ~/communiqate-ai-kit, Windows: %USERPROFILE%\communiqate-ai-kit). If that folder already exists, only overwrite the files from the zip and leave .env and .cq alone.
4. In that folder, read START-HIER.md and AGENTS.md, and follow START-HIER.md from step 0. Run the commands of the kit with that folder as the working directory.

Never ask me to paste my API key into the chat: the kit moves it from my clipboard into .env itself.
The guide in the kit is written in Dutch; talk to me in English.

Works in apps with a terminal

The prompt works in AI apps that may download files and run commands: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor in agent mode and OpenClaw. The regular ChatGPT app and Claude in the browser cannot do that.

Prefer to do it yourself?

Download the zip, unzip it and open the folder in your AI app. Type: Read START-HIER.md and guide me step by step. Using Claude Desktop? Follow LEESMIJ.md to connect it through MCP. Download the kit

What do you ask your assistant?

After the install you simply talk to your assistant. A few examples.

Keep up with the inbox

“Which customers are waiting for a reply? Start with whoever has waited longest.”

Summarise and reply

“Summarise the conversation with Jansen and suggest a reply.”

Send a template

“Send Piet the afspraak_bevestiging template for Thursday 10:00.”

Schedule a follow-up

“Send Fatima a reminder in two days if she does not reply.”

Watch the inbox

“Watch the inbox for the next hour and suggest replies right away.”

Create templates

“Create an appointment reminder template with two buttons and submit it to Meta.”

How it works

One small file on your own computer, connected to the official API of your workspace.

Built on the headless API

The kit talks to the CommuniQate Workspaces API with an API key from your own workspace. Conversations, messages, templates, contacts, labels and custom fields.

MCP server and command line

One file, nothing to install except Node.js. Apps with MCP get tools such as cq_gesprekken and cq_stuur; apps with a terminal use the command line.

Webhooks that set themselves up

Want messages to arrive instantly? The kit opens a secure tunnel and registers the webhook with CommuniQate itself, verifying every signature.

Follow-ups that check first

Schedule a reminder for later. At that moment the kit checks whether the customer already replied; only if not, the message goes out.

Safe from the first minute

An assistant that can send WhatsApp messages needs good ground rules. They are built into the kit.

Test mode

The kit starts in test mode: it can only send to your own number. You switch it off when you are done testing.

Key never in the chat

Your API key goes from your clipboard straight into a file on your computer. The assistant never sees it.

Show first, then send

The assistant shows every message first and only sends after your approval. Marketing only goes to contacts who gave consent.

Revoke at any time

Delete the key in CommuniQate and the connection stops immediately. Handy if a laptop goes missing.

What do you need?

  • A CommuniQate workspace with the Developers module. Not enabled yet? Ask us.
  • An AI app with a terminal or MCP, such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or OpenClaw.
  • Node.js 18 or newer. Your assistant checks this and helps you install it.

Frequently asked questions

Does this work with ChatGPT?

With OpenAI Codex, yes. The regular ChatGPT app cannot start a program on your computer, and the kit runs locally.

Does CommuniQate see my conversations with the AI?

No. The kit runs on your own computer and only talks to the API of your workspace. What the assistant reads does go to the AI service you use; check that this fits your company's data agreements.

Can the assistant just send messages?

In test mode only to your own number. After that it shows every message first and only sends after your approval.

How do I get a new version?

Paste the install prompt again. The assistant updates the kit and keeps your key and settings.
